TURKEY HUNTING PHOTOS

Guide - Cole Winther (left) with an Iowa Spring Gobbler

This is one of the biggest birds that we have taken.  It weighed over 27 pounds, sported a 12 inch beard, and had over 1 1/2 inch spurs.

Also pictured - Phil who got his tom the next evening on day 2 of his 3 day hunt.

Guide  - Cole Winther with a late season tom

This bird weighed in at 22 1/2 lbs, had a 11 inch beard, and 1 and 1/4 inch spurs.  Notice the neat brown coloring on the wings and the lighter colored tail fan.  This is one of the most colorful birds that we have seen.

President of Southwest Iowa Outfitters - Cody Winther with a nice tom.  Also enjoying the day are his grandchildren Wyatt and Shelby, obviously future turkey hunters.

This tom weighed 21 lbs, had a 10 3/4 inch beard and had 1 1/8 inch spurs.
